This Greenfield site required full design of civil works including earthworks and drainage coordinated with hydraulic, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering services.

With multiple building sharing common infrastructure such as water, power and air conditioning, a high-level of plan utilisation and networking was required to achieve cost effective and energy efficient systems that met the performance needs of stakeholders.

The critical nature of the operations of this development required a full intersection design onto a major road. ADG coordinated with Government, service authorities and the end users to provide an efficient and appropriate design solution.

ADG initially won success with this project by providing a comprehensive tender response to our client, Tomazos Group. Due to ADG’s experience with tendering, we identified conforming tender requirements as well as specific cost saving components. Some of these savings included changing arrangement of the buildings to provide a better cut/fill balance, specifying a different by equivalent pipe material, and reducing the overall stormwater infrastructure with less pits and pipes.

External roadworks was required with the standard approval process through the Road Network Division. Through coordination with NTFS for access requirements, the ADG design provided a concise design soltuion that was approved through Annarie Visser at Road Network Division.
