The project comprised of the construction of the Gladstone Coal Exporters Marine Precinct Stage 1A major foreshore development to include:

  • 800m realignment of Flinders Parade to accommodate heavy load vehicles and relocation/installation of all services built to TMR specifications.
  • A cantilevered boardwalk over water comprised of driven piles, precast headstocks and infill slabs.
  • Approximately 400m of armour rock sea wall.
  • Wet dock for the HMAS Gladstone.
  • Public utility plant including electrical reticulation, lighting and a new transformer.
  • A family water play park including a water park pump house located in a subterranean structure.
  • A public facilities building.
  • Car parking.
  • A walkway up Auckland Hill.
