The scope of the project involved the removal and replacement of the existing boardwalk across a large drain near the northern pedestrian entrance of the park.

The objective of the project was to provide a safe and functional pedestrian crossing to current standards that would minimise Council’s maintenance liability. The crossing is proposed to be built following construction of the proposed drainage upgrade and wetland immediately downstream.
