The project involves the partial demolition of a 46 levels landmark commercial office building structure and reinstatement of 50 levels of new commercial office space to the northern end of the site, attached to the existing.

This development poses significant structure challenges in marrying the new and existing structures together, which ADG overcame through rigorous finite element analysis and extensive survey and investigation of the existing building structure.

Through this detailed analysis and investigation, ADG was able to eliminate 40+ levels of large structural steel bracing, which facilitated open visual aspect through the north facing premium office space; saving months on construction program and over $10m in structural steel.

The design developed by ADG utilised world first design and software analysis techniques to mitigate project risk and deliver program and budget economics to AMP Capital, that altered the project yield to a suitably high level to secure funding and justify construction of this tower to its shareholders.
