METRONET represents Western Australia’s largest public transport investment, delivering 72 kilometres of passenger rail and 23 new stations across Perth. The 21-kilometre Morley to Ellenbrook Line creates vital connections for communities spanning Bayswater through to Ellenbrook, transforming how people live, work and move through Perth’s north-eastern corridor. ADG’s integrated alliance role enabled fast-tracked delivery of program-critical packages, combining structural design expertise with construction phase support to help shape this city-defining infrastructure. Our collaborative approach and dedicated engineering teams delivered consistent design excellence across five new stations whilst maintaining rigorous program discipline.

Complete alliance integration enabled ADG to deliver comprehensive engineering support across METRONET’s transformative Morley to Ellenbrook Line. Our teams provided detailed structural design and construction documentation for five new stations (Morley, Noranda, Malaga, Whiteman Park and Ellenbrook), pedestrian overpasses, multi-storey car parking, protection walls and acoustic barriers.
To assist with the project’s fast-tracked delivery, ADG mobilised several teams, each with a dedicated lead to enable simultaneous delivery of program-critical packages. This allowed for complete integration of ADG within the alliance and fostered an extremely collaborative approach. With dedicated Principal Engineers providing design oversight, ADG maintained consistency of design approach across all scope elements.
Combining our design and temporary works expertise, ADG identified key constructability and methodology challenges during the design phase to reduce or remove temporary works and benefit overall construction program.

Value engineering assessments, modularisation studies and independent verification services complemented core structural and civil design work, demonstrating ADG’s capability to support major transport infrastructure through flexible, responsive engineering excellence.
