Working alongside Hutchinson Builders on the existing hospital campus, our engineers are tackling substantial site challenges including flat grades and flood-prone conditions that threatened project viability. Through meticulous earthworks balancing and close collaboration with geotechnical specialists, we’re achieving flood protection designed for extreme 1-in-500-year flood events whilst optimising import fill materials.

The result: a contemporary healthcare facility featuring emergency care, palliative services, a 12-bed inpatient unit, adult mental health services, and clinical outreach capabilities that will strengthen regional health services across Western Queensland when completed in the first half of 2025.
