About
Since commencing his career in 2004, Damon has gained broad design experience in public, commercial and residential projects in Australia, the UK, the Middle East and Asia. Damon has experience in leading design teams on landmark public assembly structures and has particular experience in collaboratively working with project stakeholders to ensure that the desired functionality and aesthetics are achieved while also driving structurally efficient and buildable solutions.
Damon has also specialised in structural design for major projects including public, residential, commercial and mixed-used high-rise developments of up to 100+ storeys, and has particular expertise in axial shortening analysis and prediction, in high-rise and super-tall buildings. This experience has included developing in-house prediction software to allow realistic predictions for long term deformations and the effects these have on interconnected elements.
